About Steph

Quis autem vel eum iure reprehenderit, qui in ea voluptate velit esse, quam nihil molestiae.
I am so lucky to have a job that I love. It has seemed like such a natural progression into Clinical Hypnotherapy and Hypnobirthing, but then with a Biology and Psychology based degree and a long career in the police service supporting people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives perhaps its not perhaps that surprising that I found myself drawn to Hypnotherapy.

How can I help?

Clinical Hypnotherapy can help with all manner of issues. If you think it can help you, you are most likely correct! I trained at the prestigious Bristol Clifton Practice and have since been trained by inspiring people like Dr Brian Roet, Dorothea Read & Dr Rachel Gillibrand.
Hypnobirthing is amazing (I’m sure you’ve heard!) and I have selected the very best methods, been trained by Katharine Graves, the Godmother of Hypnobirthing herself and had 3 glorious hypnobirths myself, so you can relax. You are in good hands!

A little more about me

I hold the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) and the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma. (The HPD is considered to be the gold standard of hypnotherapy qualifications).

I am a member of the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). These organisations ensure that their members adhere to their professional codes of practice, ethical standards, the data protection act and keep their skills up to date. The CNHC in particular was set up with governmental support to provide the public with an assured list of therapeutic practitioners and means that GPs are allowed to refer patients to me.

The Treetops Practice

This is a busy little Hypnotherapy practice Horspath village, just outside Oxford!

I like to make things easy for you, so offer plentiful, convenient off road parking and don’t routinely book client back to back – so no waiting to see me!

I am just five miles from Oxford, four miles from the M40 and an hour from London. My clients come from Oxford, surrounding towns such as Abingdon, Bicester and Witney and much further afield. Over sees clients typically use Skype.
